Ghoul
Ghouls are part of the undead. They're gaunt, with white skin, red eyed, and sharp teeth and claws. Instead of blood they have a green poison which can be used to kill their victims. Anyone unfortunate enough to be killed by one gets turned into a Ghoul. Thankfully, Wights are likely to eat the body before this happens. They are resistant to bullets, though not to edged weapons. They can paralyse mortals briefly with a touch but are no stronger nor faster than a human. As a defense tactic- you're likely to find they come in groups.
Human
If you don't know what a human is like, then you probably have issues that this RP can't solve One further point though, in this world- there aren't many of you left, and those humans that there are, aren't likely to come out from hiding anytime soon.
Ghost
Their presence in an area can gradually suck the life out of it, but similarly if they are exposed to a large group of living for a long time, they start to diminish. Heavily populated areas are avoided and the living haunted until they leave or are depressed enough to commit suicide. They are not tied to an area, but they do become accustomed to one place- the longer they've been there, the easier it is for them to interact with the objects and people that are there- and hence- easier for them to drive unwanted guests away. Some supernatural abilities can detect them.
Vampire
Ever the aristocrats, these pale skinned, beautiful creatures are obvious as vampires even with their retractable fangs. The vampires have many abilities, shape-shifting, mind control, superhuman strength, speed, regeneration and the ability to charm nocturnal animals. But these powers are balanced by their weaknesses, they can't cross running water or bare sunlight, crosses or garlic. They can't enter a home without being invited in and, though bullets do nothing, a stake to the heart will kill them. Vampires MUST return to their COFFINS during day.
Werewolf
They can only transform ONLY at the full moon, but even in their human state they can recognise and imitate growls and howls and tell other members of their pack by scent alone. Generally they are huge, broad people, with long head and body hair and long canines. They are short tempered, violent towards strangers and incredibly loyal to their "pack". They like to eat meat and prefer rural areas to cities, but at the full moon they change into huge, wolflike monsters that will savagely murder anything that gets too close, but have little to no control over themselves. Loud noises leave them in pain and they can be poisoned by wolfsbane- a common garden plant- and burnt by silver.
